We activate your OpenStack environment with an operational network. A server and a router are already configured and connected to the Internet.
You can expand it yourself with extra servers, free load balancers and block storage.
Everything is housed on our Power racks for OpenStack with 40GB/s to the compute node.
In addition, all the data traffic is free and unlimited!
Free load balancers
Make sure your environment is reliable and remains online in difficult circumstances. For this, you can add free load balancers to spread the loads over multiple servers.
This way, you will not run the risk that a server gets overloaded and goes offline.
Strengthen security with firewalls and security groups
Secure your OpenStack network with firewalls. You are completely free to close and open ports for one or multiple servers (instances), for both inbound and outbound traffic.
Save these settings in reusable security groups for your next projects.
You can also determine which traffic you authorise or reject via network policies. This way, you can determine who can access your website (or not) based on your rules (e.g. used protocol, ports, type of traffic, etc.).
Floating and static IPs
Connect IP addresses to your various servers in order to make them available to external users.
Use floating IPs and static IPs to assign to your servers.
You can keep a floating IP when you temporarily no longer need it but want to reserve it for another project. This will allow you to reuse it for new instances you will start.
Protect your data in a private network
OpenStack is extremely flexible. It is e.g. perfectly possible to create a network with a publicly accessible server and connect a private network to it, where you keep sensitive data (such as databases). This provides an even better protection against hackers.
