We saw it coming in the last few months, especially when we saw our turnover increase: the Belgians finally got used to pay online: in 2011, all together, we paid about 25% more online, which leads us to over 1.2 billion euros. And according to payment giant Ogone, this trend is just the beginning. Because Belgium still has a lot of catching up to do compared to the rest of Europe.

That is good news for all our customers who own a web store. In 2012, they can expect many more online customers as well as a higher turnover. And that does not concern the travel sector and electronics dealers exclusively. Apparently, the Belgians are also more and more keen to purchase clothes and do their usual shopping online. In the meantime, even discounts and sales have become part of everyday life on the Internet.

Of course, Combell is happy to ride the same wave. We recently expanded our hosting range with free installation (upon request) of the most popular web shop software: Magento and Prestashop are totally ready-to-use if you choose Windows hosting or Linux hosting.
