Import and export contacts in Webmail

Do you have a Basic mailbox? Then the contacts in Webmail are saved in the vCard file format. This is a widely used format that is used on Android, iOS and Apple computers.

This makes it very easy to export contacts to your computer or import your existing contact list.

Import contacts into Webmail

Import contacts in the .vcf (vCard) format into your Webmail contact list.

Follow these steps in Webmail:

  1. Click on “Contacts” at the top right.
  2. Click on the “import” button on the top left
  3. Click on “Choose files” and choose the .vcf file on your computer that you want to import.

Pay attention!  Be careful with the option “replace the complete address book”. This can not be undone.

Export contacts in Webmail

Export your contacts in the .vcf (vCard) format so that you can import them elsewhere.

Follow these steps in Webmail:

  1. Click on “Contacts” at the top right.
  2. Select the contacts that you want to export.
If you only want to export a few contacts, hold the CTRL key or the CMD key on your keyboard until you have selected all the desired contacts.
  3. At the top left, click on the drop-down arrow next to the “Export” button.
Click on “Export all” or “Export selection” depending on which contacts you want to export.
Your .vcf file will be downloaded automatically.
