In 2014, The Internet will go through a major change. Thousands of new Internet extensions, also known as generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs), will be introduced. Traditional TLDs, such as .com, .net, .biz and .info, will then be joined by new extensions like .vlaanderen, .shop and .green. In order to keep an overview of these tons of information, Combell developed an app specifically for the new gTLDs!

With Combell’s New gTLD’s application for iOS, which is completely free for everyone, you always have all the information about the new gTLDs at your fingertips on your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. With this app, it’s easy to:

  • Find details about a specific domain extension. It is then possible to see why the extension was created, what the current status is, when the launch phases are planned and what prices will be charged
  • Browse the domain extensions by category or find a specific extension
  • Get general information on the launch of the new gTLDs, with a little help from Mr. Forrester, who explains everything in plain understandable language through a video

In addition, the next version of the app is currently being developed, with the aim of adding even more features in the future. Android users too will soon be able to install this app on their device.
