High petrol prices attract clients to the web

A recent study conducted by Harris Interactive showed that these days, 33% of American adults prefer to shop online rather than going to a physical store in person. The great culprit is the price of petrol, which has risen sharply.

The study also indicated that 57% of adult Internet users named free delivery as a reason to buy online rather than in a real store; 55% mentioned the low prices as a reason and 61% were seduced by the fact that they could access web shops at any time of the day or night.
