iMinds_logo_CMYKThe Cloud Angel Webfund, which Combell launched a few months ago, is now strengthened by the addition of iMinds – the leading digital research centre in Flanders that helped successful start-ups see the light of day. Thanks to their advanced iStart programme, not only do start-ups get financial support, but they also benefit from practical help.

With some other partners, Combell will give iMinds’s starters the required expertise and know-how in the field of hosting. To do this, the company will collaborate actively with iMinds to share this knowledge with young starters through workshops and networking opportunities. iMinds is one of Belgium’s most successful incubators.

Combell, which was once a start-up too, wants to give a little help to the start-up scene in the Benelux. This is why the Combell Cloud Angel Fund was born. No business incubator or venture capitalist, but a separate division for which Combell will offer free hosting in collaboration with several incubators, including iMinds, for a period of one year. The total budget for the fund amounts to €1,000,000.
