How to implement RAMDisk in Magento v.2?

HINT: If you have a CMS hosting account (WordPress Performance, Magento Business, Joomla Express, Drupal Express, etc.), Combell will automatically choose the best caching method for you and configure it. You do not need to go through this procedure.

This is how you properly configure RAMdisk in your Magento 2 installation:

  1. Discover your RAMDisk control in control panel >> My Products >> Web Hosting >> Hosting Detail >> Caching >> RAMDisk
  2. Enter the following path in your RAMDisk path:
    www/var/cache

  3. Click on “add a RAM-disk”

ATTENTION: The path should start from the root directory of your hosting account. The path should be www/var/cache rather than var/cache
