How to implement Ramdisk in WordPress?

HINT: If you have a CMS hosting account (WordPress Performance, Magento Business, Joomla Express, Drupal Express, etc.), Combell will automatically choose the best caching method for you and configure it. You do not need to go through this procedure.

Follow this tutorial to easily implement RAM disk in WordPress.

  1. First and foremost, there must be an installed and activated caching plugin. A good fit is WP Super Cache. This plugin will place the cache files in the following directory:
    wp-content/cache

  2. You can then simply create the ramdisk in control panel

ATTENTION: The path should start from the root directory of your hosting account. The path should be www/wp-content/wfcache rather than wp-content/wfcache
