Group Revenue Analyst

team.blue, the parent company of Combell, is looking for a Group Revenue Analyst to be stationed at our Ghent office in Belgium. team.blue is a leading digital enabler for companies and entrepreneurs. The Group Revenue Analyst’s primary role is to support in the planning, management and execution of value creation and revenue initiatives across the group. The selected candidate will be a key confidante and will offer a superior level of strategic, business as well as analytical support to the VCP (Value Creation Plan) Group Lead and Group CFO.

Responsibilities

  • Support the group VCP Lead and group CFO drive the setting up and functioning of the central VCP / Finance BI function at the group level
  • Act as liaison between the regional VCP / Commercials teams and the central function
  • Support in the development and management of multi-year VCP / commercial plans across regions, which will include:
    • Driving workshop with management teams for idea generation and plan creation
    • Business case modelling
    • Support in the prioritization of initiatives based on size of prize / operational complexity
  • Support the local VCP / commercial teams in the deployment of specific value creation initiatives, which may include:
    • Drive / support in data analysis, including customer level data analysis
    • Drive / support in design, fielding and analysis of market research studies
    • Drive / support in competitor benchmarking exercises
    • Support in operational execution of initiatives, including communication plans for internal and external stakeholders
    • Drive / support in the development of impact tracking models
  • Responsible for the further development of the overall KPI reporting, targeted for different stakeholders at Group level (Management, Board, banks, etc…)
  • Ensure the consistency between the KPI reporting and the financial reporting allowing reconciliation between the two
  • Come with proposals for new reporting formats / templates
  • Obtain deep knowledge of the BI tool in order to be able to independently implement new KPI reporting formats / templates and reconcile with financial reporting
  • Occasionally travel to regional offices (Europe)

Candidate profile

  • A degree with strong academics (Business, Mathematics, Statistics or Finance preferred) or Project Management Qualifications (prince2 or equivalent)
  • 2-4 years’ experience in a consulting firm
  • Proficient level in Excel is a requirement. Experience in other analytical tools is a preference (e.g. SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, R)
  • Experience working in the design, fielding and analysis of market research studies is a preference but not required
  • Experience of working within a relevant industry business would be a distinct advantage but is not essential
  • International exposure an advantage but not essential
  • Passion for and commitment to success
