Die snelweg is publiek en voor iedereen toegankelijk: je hoeft geen 'tol' te betalen om erop te mogen rijden. Maar net zoals in het echte verkeer, heb je w\u00e9l een voertuig nodig dat de weg kan gebruiken. Bij e-facturatie is dat voertuig je software en\/of een Peppol Access Point. In dit artikel maken we het onderscheid glashelder: wat is gratis, waar betaal je voor, en hoe vermijd je onaangename verrassingen. Het is een afsprakenstelsel en een internationaal netwerk waarmee organisaties gestructureerde e-facturen veilig kunnen uitwisselen.<\/p>\n<p>Denk aan standaarden zoals <strong>EN 16931\/Peppol BIS<\/strong> (de taal van de factuur) en <strong>AS4<\/strong> (het beveiligde transport). De kosten zitten niet in het netwerk, maar in wat je nodig hebt om erop aan te sluiten. Providers investeren in ontwikkeling, hosting, certificatie, cybersecurity, updates (bv. nieuwe Peppol BIS-versies), support en audit-trails.
