The message can then be released from the filter, if it is more recent than 1-week old. If the issue persists with a particular sender, you may ask Support to whitelist the sender for your domain. However, this is usually not recommended, as it will remove your spam protection from that particular source.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"enable\">How to enable advanced spam filtering for the customers?<\/h2>\n<p>Advanced spam filtering is a feature you can make available in a service package.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Follow these steps <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">in the <\/span><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.combell.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">control panel <\/span><\/a> <strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">to activate this for your customers:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Go to \u201cReseller\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Choose \u201cService packages\u201d in the menu on the left and then click on the three vertical dots menu next to the service pack you want to change and choose &#8220;Edit service package&#8221;<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the section \u201cBasic e-mail hosting\u201d you tick the section \u201cAdvanced scanning\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">To confirm, scroll all the way down and click on \u201cEdit service package\u201d<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-17519 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/www.combell.com\/en\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/Screen-Shot-2020-10-16-at-4.18.42-PM-300x231.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"231\" \/><br \/>\n<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 id=\"customer\">How can my customers activate advanced spam filtering?<\/h2>\n<p>The advanced spam filtering is an extra anti-spam protection that can be applied both for Basic Email and Exchange Mail users.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Follow these steps <\/span><\/strong><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">in the <\/span><\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/my.combell.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">control panel <\/span><\/a> <strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">to activate it:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Go to \u201cMy Products\u201d&gt; \u201cEmail Hosting\u201d&gt; Click the \u201cManage Email\u201d button to the right of your domain name.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Choose in the left menu for \u201cAnti-spam settings\u201d<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">At \u201cType anti-spam\u201d choose in the drop-down menu for \u201cAdvanced scanning\u201d.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Click on \u201cSave settings\u201d to confirm<\/span><\/span><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14786\" src=\"https:\/\/www.combell.com\/en\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/Activate-advanced-spam-filtering-as-a-customer.png\" alt=\"Activate advanced spam filtering as a customer\" width=\"2819\" height=\"982\" \/><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Advanced filtering is stronger than Basic.
