How do I create a backup?
- From the Widgets menu to your left click on Settings
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the window. Click on the ‘Backup and Restore’ button.
- Here you can ‘Create a new backup’ if you click on the button.
- Select whether you are backing up your published site – the version of the website that is currently online, OR the version you are working on in your editor.
- Make sure you fill in a name and a comment. Don’t bother to add a date, or a published/editor note. The SiteBuilder saves that information for you.
- Click on ‘Create Backup’
- Your backup is created!
How do I restore from a backup?
- From the Widgets menu to your left click on Settings
- Scroll all the way to the bottom of the window. Click on the ‘Backup and Restore’ button.
- Select a backup you wish to restore from. If you have multiple files, you can select based on the date and the type – published or draft. (Click on the arrow before the name to unveil the information)
- Click on the button ‘Restore’
- Confirm by clicking on ‘I am sure’
- Your project has been restored from backup!
Have in mind different SiteBuilder packages have a different number of backup slots
- SiteBuilder1 allows no backups
- SiteBuilder2 allows 1 backup
- SiteBuilder3 allows 10 backups
