How can I change the password of my Administrator or Root user on my VPS?

The Root user is, to put it simply, the administrator of your VPS with the greatest access. To change the password for the Root user, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in your container controller (not in your hosting control panel).Log in your container controller
  2. Navigate to the vertical menu to your left-hand side and click on ‘Change Password’ in the ‘Management’ section.Overview
  3. Type and retype your new password.
  4. The following message will tell you if you did it right: The password has been successfully changed.
