The Dutch professional organisation Thuiswinkel, which defends the interests of companies that sell products and\/or services online to consumers, has been running the Thuiswinkel Awards every year since 2001, in order to contribute positively to e-commerce. A jury of experts as well as the public determine together who the winners are.

Jury of experts refers winners to the international awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n

This year, the jury of experts has once again awarded 4 \u201cVakprijzen\u201d. Just like the two previous years, Coolblue.nl<\/a><\/span> was awarded the title of best web store in the Netherlands<\/strong>. This e-shop was also directly referred to the 4th edition of the European E-Commerce Awards. The winner of the Cross-Border E-commerce Award, Hotelspecials.de<\/a><\/span>, is also nominated for the longlist of the European Pure Player Award. If they will make it will become clear on the 9th of June, during the Global E-commerce Summit 2015<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Established company Bol.com<\/a><\/span> was awarded the title of best Mobile web shop<\/strong>, and also won the Award in the category Warehouses<\/strong>. Finally, the jury of experts awarded to Proforto.nl<\/a><\/span>, which offers work clothing online, the title of best new web store in the Netherlands<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A vast panel for thePublic awards<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The evaluation of the nominated sites by the public is carried out very seriously. For the Public awards, 5,000 ratings from an online consumer panel at GfK were combined to 48,000 ratings from a consumer survey among the customers of the web stores. In order for every web shop to have as much chances of winning an Award, the nominees were divided into two main categories<\/strong>:<\/p>\n
