\"\"<\/a>On 10 May 2011, the BeCommerce Awards took place in the magnificent Castle of Brasschaat. Every year, with this prestigious award, BeCommerce wants to encourage innovative and hard working web stores in order to keep the consumers\u2019 trust via the Internet at a high and healthy level. A professional jury and a consumer panel evaluated and chose the best Belgian web stores.<\/p>\n

Over 275 guests from the Internet commerce sector attended the prize-giving ceremony. Both the audience and the professional jury awarded Coolblue as the best Belgian e-commerce website of 2011. Even Combell\u2019s customer Hubo was awarded in the category House, Garden & Pets. Vente-Exclusive, another customer of ours who last year won a prize in the category Clothes & Accessories, was very close to being awarded once again.

\nFor the public vote, there were 9 categories<\/strong>. The participating web stores were evaluated by consumers on the level of prices, delivery, payment security and the layout of the website. This vote was organised by Q&A Research & Consultancy.<\/p>\n

The opinions and votes finally allowed to elect the following winners in the different categories:

\n\u2022 House, Garden & Pets: E-shop.hubo.be
\n\u2022 Clothing & Accessories: Snapstore.be

\n\u2022 Recreation & Leisure: Photobox.be
\n\u2022 Travel: Sunjets.be
\n\u2022 Beauty & Health: Yvesrocher.be
\n\u2022 Flight tickets: Jetairfly.com<\/p>\n

B2C and Conversation<\/strong>
\nThe audience was also asked which web store communicated best with its customers, in terms of both advertising and customer service. The winner was awarded the Conversation Award. In addition, the professional jury evaluated the 24 candidates nominated by the audience, and chose the winner of the B2C Award. Both prizes were awarded to Coolblue.<\/p>\n

Minister of Innovation<\/strong>
\nFor this edition, the professional jury also awarded the first Innovation Award. This award was given to Minister Van Quickenborne, for the efforts he made in the e-business field during the past years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
