We recently started using DELL’s brand-new server models (R620 and R720) for our Solutions customers. Thanks to these servers, we can obtain much more powerful environments for both dedicated server and private Cloud environments. These models deliver much better performance and are easier to upgrade with extra memory and processing power. We consciously chose these server models because they consume less energy and deliver amazing performance. |

Just as last year, Combell’s ice cream truck has been touring all over the country. From 15 May to 15 July, we visited almost 300 companies and offered 1,500 litres of ice cream, the equivalent of 7,000 ice cream cones. Interested companies had the possibility to request a visit from our ice cream truck on www.combell-island.com. Besides the various companies, among which many web agencies, we also drove to several events: Microsoft Community Day, FeWeb’s Summer Event and the Social Media Day. |

Last year, as part of our Social Entrepreneurship program, Combell donated more than 250 servers to Close The Gap. “The 250 servers donated by Combell in 2011 are used in social, educational and medical projects all over the world. These very diverse projects have one common goal: to keep helping people and society from a socio-educational perspective”, says Olivier Vanden Eynde, Managing Director at Close the Gap. |
