With MySQL, you can manage your SQL database yourself very easily. This client/server side database server has been especially developed for web applications. Not only is MySQL fast, but it is also extremely efficient.
As long as you remain within the total webspace of your Linux hosting package, with Combell, there is no limit to the number of MySQL databases. Moreover, you can configure your database entirely yourself and get root rights on your hosting package's MySQL server.
You can also have someone else manage your database. There is an unlimited number of MySQL users who can each get their own permissions or execution rights.
By default, MySQL databases can only be accessed via local scripts on the hosting package. Do you also want to be able to manage or synchronise MySQL remotely with e.g. your local MS SQL or MS Access database? No problem, you just have to choose the option "Unique IP address". This way, your MySQL server can also be managed remotely.
