Is it possible to have a control panel to manage my dedicated server?

This is definitely possible. We advise our customers to use the user-friendly control panel Plesk. With it, you can very easily manage your server and create hosting packages and mailboxes in no time. More information about the Plesk control panel.

When will my server be active?

Your server will be active within 3 workdays if you chose one of our 3 preconfigured servers. These versions are ideal for most usual applications. Of course, it is possible to get a custom-configured server, but in that case, the delivery will take some extra time. Contact our sales team for a personalised offer and to determine the configuration that suits your application best.

What is a dedicated server?

A dedicated server is a physical server that you rent on a monthly basis and that is hosted in one of our data centres. Since you rent the server from us, we take care of the technical side of things and hardware. You get full root access (management rights) so that you can manage the server remotely. So, you do not have to go where the physical server is.

Is my server protected against hackers?

Each dedicated server in Combell's network is connected to our firewall. This service is included free of charge in our SLA Start. We chose this solution in order to ensure the quality of all servers in our network.

Which guarantees and support do you provide with my dedicated server?

Support is one of Combell's top priorities. That is why with each server, we automatically offer a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with, among other things, basic support, basic monitoring and a basic firewall.
Combell offers no less than 5 SLA packages, the one more advanced than the others. With an SLA Pro, for instance, a great part of the server management is taken care of by Combell.
