Cloud servers

Unlike traditional servers, a cloud server is in a network of servers that combine their capacity. When you need extra memory, processing power, storage or bandwidth, these resources are immediately allocated by the cloud. Moreover, there is always a second virtual machine on standby. That is efficient and ensures an optimal availability of your websites or applications.

Cloud Servers are based on 3 pillars:

1. Scalability

Scalability means that you can increase or reduce the computing power as you please. Instead of an own server with a predefined capacity, you rent the capacity that you need per month. This is e.g. handy for a web store during busy periods such as Valentine's Day and the Christmas holidays.

2. Efficiency (also price-wise)

You only pay for the capacity that you actually use, which will represent huge savings. So, you do not pay anymore for servers that you need for maybe just a few days a year to face this busy period.

3. On demand

You can increase or reduce the processing power that you need for your application or server at any time.
