Unlimited number of mailboxes included.
 E- mail is stored in a separate mailbox, with its own user name and password. Each mailbox can have an unlimited number of aliases.
Example: info@domainname.com can be the mailbox, but sales@domainname.com can be an alias of info@domainname.com, which arrives at the same computer. If the address should arrive at another computer, you will have to create a separate mailbox.
COMBELL uses POP3 mailservers.
Catch- all mailbox
 A catch-all mailbox is an e-mail address, which receives all non-configured e-mails. This means that if someone sends an e-mail to your domain name, but writes a wrong name before the @, this mail will be sent to your main mailbox anyhow.
Example: Your e-mail address is jan.janssens@domainname.com , but someone accidentally writes jean.janssens@domainname.com: this mail will be delivered anyhow.
Unlimited number of e-mailaliasses
 An e-mail alias is an e-mail address, that can be linked to your mailbox. All e-mails, send to this alias are forwarded to your linked mailbox.
Example: info@domainname.com is the main mailbox, but sales@domainname.com and information@domainname.com are e-mail aliases, that arrive with the same person/mailbox. With a program s.a. Outlook you can even see to which e-mail address an e-mail has been sent. This makes it a lot easier to sort your mails.
Unlimited number of mailinglists
 An unlimited number of mailing lists with links to an unlimited number of addressees via the control panel.
To manage e-mails - coming from your customers or website visitors - in an automated manner, we would advise a mailing list software. COMBELL has standard free scripts available, which can be added to your hosting package (via online subscription).
COMBELL Webmail (e-mail online)
 No matter where your customers are in the world, with COMBELL webmail (http://webmail.combell.com) they can always read, write and send e-mails, even with attachments.
COMBELL gives you this webmail script, so you can offer it to your customers on your hosting account webmail services. All you have to do is install and configure it yourself.
Unlimited number of autoresponders - out-of-the-office messages
 When you are not at the office, your mailbox can be installed to send out automatically an out-of-the-office message as a reply to new incoming mail.
You can create and edit this message yourself via the control panel.
Free linking to own mailserver
 Your customer already has a mailserver and he only wishes to host his website with you. He prefers to manage his e-mails locally. Is this possible? Yes. There are two possibilities for customers with their own local mailserver:
- You provide us with your customer's mailserver IP-address (Microsoft Exchange, ...). COMBELL will install this in the MX domain name nameserver configuration. Different IP-addresses or different mailservers are no problem. Please contact COMBELL support for the configuration. Backup mailserver are available as option for local mailserver for 150 EUR per year.
- 1 mailbox should remain active on the reseller hosting; which will also function as catch-all mailbox. This way, all e-mails are centrally stored at the COMBELL mailserver. Your customer's mailserver can empty the main mailbox at regular times and create subdivisions for different users.
