Shared & Dedicated Managed Backup solutions
All backup solutions are available in shared or dedicated mode. With dedicated backup, your company data are stored in an environment dedicated to you alone.
The benefit of this is that the efficiency of the solution does not depend on the activity caused by other customers. With a shared solution, you share the backup environment with other companies. So, Combell has a modular shared tape robot in its data centre.
As the backup volume grows, we keep increasing the capacity of the robot. With shared backup, Combell guarantees constant usage monitoring. If necessary, the capacity and the efficiency of the solution are immediately adapted. With shared backup, Combell uses a standard backup schedule. With dedicated backup, the customer may of course define the backup parameters, such as the frequency of the restore points.
