Does my mailbox have to be hosted by Combell?

This is not necessary. We can also offer mailprotect for your own mail servers. In that case, we have your e-mails pass through our mailprotect servers before sending them to you. Another benefit is that not a single e-mail is lost. If your mail server is not available, we keep receiving your e-mails until your server is active again.
