A perfectly designed website is worth nothing without a good domain name. But which 'good' domain name do I need to be successful? Unfortunately, 'the' perfect domain name does not exist!
But we can give you some suggestions, which might help you when choosing a good domain name:
- Keep the domain name as short as possible.
- Use your company name. Is this name already taken? Name your domain after your main activity.
- However, we must add that it is always interesting to register domain names of all your main activities. Then people who are specifically searching the web for your activities, will somehow always end up on your site.
- You are well advised to also register ALL your product names. This is important in order to obtain higher rankings (= placement) in search engine results.
- Do you want to put different words in one domain name? Register the domain name with the words written in one (e.g servercenter.be), as well as with '-' inbetween, e.g. server-center.be.
