Thanks to Combell's Domain Name Server (DNS), you can link your domain name to other servers or IP addresses (such as your own web server or mail server) in a jiffy. You do not have to wait for changes to be applied, because everything happens in real time.

Via a user-friendly control panel, you can set the following DNS records :

  • A records
  • With these, you can link a host name (e.g. www.domainname.com) to an IP address (e.g. 193.111.95.1).
  • MX or mail server records
  • With these, you can set one or several mail servers and you can even determine the priority of the mail servers.
  • CNAME or canonical records
  • With these, you can link a host name (e.g. www.domainname.com) to another host name (e.g. server.myprovider.com).
