The .it extension is the official top level domain for Italy. Any who lives in Europe can register a .it domain name.
When a company or organisation requests a .it domain name, we need to have the registration number, vat number and date of establishment. Companies and/or organisations can register as many .it domain names as they want (please fill out the requested information in the 'remarks' field when placing your order).
When a private individual requests a .it domain name, we need to know his date and place of birth. Please take into account that each private individual can register only 1 domain name (please fill out the requested information in the 'remarks' filed when placing your order).
