Pizza.com was sold for a fortune

In 1994, a 43-year-old American bought the domain name pizza.com for only 34 euros. Because he had no more use for it, he put this domain name up for sale and made a huge profit in the bargain. The domain name was sold last week, for the astounding amount of 1,500,000 euros! This goes to show that domain trading can be pretty interesting.
