It’s been proven again: there’s a lot of money to be made with domain names.
Especially domains that already generate millions of dollars in their trade are gaining popularity
Earlier, we announced that IDN will soon be available with .be and .nl extensions.
Now, Sweden will follow that example. A Sunrise period has already set in on the 4th of July 2007 in order to launch those IDN.
The ICANN, the organisation in charge of managing top-level domain names (TLD), has given its approval for the introduction of the .asia umbrella domain.
Russia is growing. And it shows on the Internet too. In April 2006, 500000 domain names had already been registered under the .ru TLD. By the end of 2006, this number had increased to 718000.
