.cr domain names soon open to the public
The registry of .cr (Costa Rica) domain names communicates that .cr domain names will soon be open to the public via a landrush. For the time being, the holders of a third-level domain (like e.g. combell.co.cr or combell.sa.cr) have the opportunity to register their second-level domain (like e.g. combell.cr) within a period of 90 days. The domain holders who don’t exercise their preferential right within 90 days lose their right to register. From that moment on, all available .cn domain names will be attributed on a first-come-first-served basis via a general landrush. You can however already contact our sales department in order to protect your company or brand name as a domain name through pre-registration. More information will be provided later.
