An increasing demand for .eu domain names

EurID, the .eu registry, has reported an increase in the number of requests for .eu domain names. Currently, there are a total of 2.8 million .eu registrations. Germany owns the highest number of .eu domain names, followed by the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and France. .eu domain names have been liberalized in April 2006 and can be registered by anyone.
