You hire webspace in an anonymous server park in a low-wage country on the other side of the world. Next you sublet this webspace to customers in Belgium or the Netherlands. So far, so good. Untill these customers start complaining about slow or broken connections.

The data packages have to pass many more internet nodes. This takes time and increases the error-risk level. Because of the webhosting at bottom prices you use, your server will be crammed with hosting packages. For this kind of practice, more than 800 hosting packages per server is no exception.

As a result of this, websites will work a lot slower, because scripts and database operations are being executed on a cheap server, which contains 3 to 5 times more hosting packages than the amount admitted! IBM Blade also has a double management module, onboard KVM and a master switch.

COMBELL also uses high quality Cisco switches and routers, solid WatchGuard data centre firewalls, reliable Legato backup software, StorageTek Library systems and IBM backup tapes. Backups are safely stored in Brussels and Ghent.
