Consultants work everywhere thanks to the Cloud

BeAligned is an independent consultancy practice that supports its customers in implementing strategic projects. Over forty consultants work from any place: in the main office, from customers' premises, at home, on the road, etc. "In the past, it would have been very difficult to work like this without any problems. Today, thanks to the Cloud, it has become child's play", says Senior Consultant Hendrik Vermeiren.

A laptop and an Internet connection is all BeAligned consultants need to be productive. Because all the necessary data and tools are always available everywhere.

Hendrik Vermeiren: "I myself regularly log in to the virtual office from home. There, I find all my files and e-mails exactly the way I left them at the office. Or at a customer's premises. No more hassle with flash drives, no lost or double files, no waste of time, etc. The Cloud makes our company much more efficient."

Sufficient capacity at any time

Over the past five years, BeAligned has grown significantly. In 2006, the team still consisted of 5 employees. Today, they are almost ten times more numerous. Hendrik Vermeiren: "Ten, twenty, forty... For our IT infrastructure, it does not matter how many consultants join our team. The Combell Cloud adjusts to our needs. So, in the long run, we also do not have to invest in bigger or faster servers. Or purchase capacity 'as we grow'. We just upgrade when necessary."
