• • The local authorities of the 73 countries of the .asia zone can activate the names they reserved.

• Sunrise 2a: Holders of brands registered before March 16th, 2004 (October 9th 2007 until October 30th 2007)
• Sunrise 2b: Holders of brands registered before December 6th, 2006 (November 13th 2007 until January 15th 2008)
• Sunrise 2c: Holders of brands registered in compliance with the Nice classification system before December 6th 2006 (November 13th 2007 until January 15th 2007)

• • Companies, associations or other organisations established in one of the 73 countries of the .asia zone can register their own official name as a .asia domain name.

The second Sunrise period is meant for people or companies with a registered brand. During this phase, registrations are open only to registered brand names.

When several people or companies submit valid requests for the same domain name, DOTasia will invite all the parties with a valid request to partake in an auction. The highest bidder will then become the owner of the domain name.

The third and last part of the Sunrise Period is meant for companies and organisations that have rights to their own name owing to their registration at the local Chamber of Commerce or Register of Companies.

COMBELL will handle the entire domain name registration of your .asia domain name during the Sunrise Periods.


For the Sunrise periods, the application fee amounts to 239 EUR.

The abovementioned price doesn’t include:

• the costs pertaining to the auction
• the costs pertaining to the domain name
• VAT

In case of a rejected registration, the application fee will not be refunded.
