Combell launches the Combell Academy

Combell launches the Combell Academy. The offer includes several trainings for different target groups. In January 2010, the program includes trainings about SharePoint, working efficiently and mobile with e-mail and reseller tools (among others). Most trainings are free of charge for customers.

At the request of our customers

“Customer support is very important to us”, says Christophe Van den Bulcke, marketing manager at Combell. “In addition to our phone support via our 0800 number, we noticed that some customers needed further training. This is also due to the fact that our product range becomes more complex by the day. Services such as SharePoint hosting include many assets, but you will notice them especially if you already work with this software. In January, for the fifth time, we will hold our SharePoint training that about 35 customers will attend during four hours, free of charge. The trainings are hands-on, which means that participants can perform tests on their own laptop immediately.”

Different trainings

Following the successful SharePoint trainings, in January, we launched two new trainings. There is a training for resellers (“Become a hosting provider yourself”), where we teach resellers to work as hosting providers. In addition, there will be a training about “working efficiently and mobile with Business E-mail”. In this last training, you will learn everything about how to optimise your e-mail traffic within your company and topics such as sharing agendas, planning meetings, managing resources, delegating tasks, etc. will be addressed.

Free of charge for Combell customers

“The majority of the trainings are free of charge for Combell customers. They take place in the auditorium in our new office building in Ghent. Before, during and after the trainings, there will be time for eating and drinking in the Combell Café. Combell commits to hold more of such trainings in the future. We also plan to hold more technical and in-depth trainings, e.g. about virtualisation and performances, because training is crucial in our sector too. That is why we are happy to put our seminar room at our sector colleagues’ disposal for events”, concludes Van den Bulcke.
